Northern Local Train Route:

Basically the north local trains runs towards the north direction. This is the only route in India where a suburban train is operated outside the state.

MRTS Local Train Route Chennai:

The MRTS currently runs from Chennai Beach to Velachery the MRTS line is being extended from Velachery to St Thomas Mount. It will also be helpful for metro rail project. Since St Thomas mount local station will be house of south line suburban trains

  1. Nice of you Prem. Want to know if there is a direct route connecting beach and central. I only know that one can get down at Park Town/Station and walk to Chennai Central. Thanks.
